Hats on or off, it’s a tea party!

Little girls often use their imaginations and take time to play in the land of “make believe” where they are all grown up.

Now that you are all grown up, lighten up! Let your imagination run wild by hosting a tea party - Mad Hatter Style.

Set the table with fine china teacups and saucers available at most thrift stores, garage sales or borrow some from grandma (or invite everyone to bring their own with a short story to go along with it.)

Make a few delicious cucumber and spreadable cream cheese sandwiches, roll them or cut the crusts off. Cookie cutters create fun shapes so your sandwiches with look fancy with a bit of whimsical flair.

Whip up a batch of Short bread cookies, for added colour and flavour: grate in some lime rind: uplifting in aroma, grate in some sweet orange peel: epitomizes a comfortable, relaxed state of mind and increases positivity.

Icing swirls on cupcakes sprinkle the tops with English Lavender ~ edible cooking lavender. Refresh a tired mind lavender essences are great for stress and anxiety relief.

Fill the china cups using a pot of hot steeped tea.

Now add some imagination: Dress up can be fun for grown ups too, grab a hat and have some fun, happiness ensues!
