Where Happiness Begins

To have long lasting happiness we must first learn who we truly are. This means knowing not just your strengths but your weaknesses too. Coming face to face with your vices can be difficult. Walking away or avoiding your problems is certainly much easier. My advice for getting to know yourself is to do some quick and fun online questionnaires!

For a more in depth and fuller analysis, try taking the Myers-Briggs Personality Assessment. It will pick up on very determinant aspects of your personality and help you better understand your motivations, actions, and goals. It will also reveal a lot about your thought patterns, such as if you are an introvert or an extrovert.

If you are an introvert you might find happiness in spending time alone, and that is totally fine (pssst, I am an introvert too, check out my results here!)

Getting to know these aspects of yourself is helpful in choosing a career path too, as it teaches you to use both your strengths and weaknesses to your advantage! A great read that demonstrates this is The Introvert Advantage by Marti Olsen Laney.
